Village visit and new shop in Accra

It´s been a while since you heard news from us, so here is an update on what we have been up to.

We were so happy to welcome Giorgio and Etsuko back in the village for the second time, and we had a great time with the weavers, discussing baskets and techniques with Giorgio – and this time we also took them on a tour to a local house to show them how we live in our village.  Sherigu - Giorgio and Etsuko group photo

New shop in Accra
We are also in the process of setting up a shop in Accra. The shop will sell a variety of African arts and crafts, drums built by Fuseini and his drum specialist Amed. The shop will also be a place to promote the baskets of Lost Opportunities Foundation, and a meeting place for people who come to Accra and would like to know more about our foundation, and maybe plan a trip to visit Sherigu and Bolgatanga with us.

More baskets to Norway
We have also recently shipped more shopper baskets to Norway, and we believe they will get new owners quite quick before the summer season with picnics and summer nights on the beach!

If you would like to buy baskets, to visit us in Ghana or just get more information about our foundation – please get in touch!
